The Gowanus Custom Superblend is a special roast
created by Frank D’Amico, Jr. This rich brew was inspired by the glory days of
the dock workers along the Gowanus Canal, but don’t let that sway you. This is
one of the finest custom blends we make . The colors are bright, the flavors are
rich and full, it is a blend of some of the richest coffee from around the
world, roasted to be assertive with a lingering after taste.
This special blend also has a “social” purpose, a portion of all proceeds
will go to support education and Superfund cleanup efforts along the Gowanus
Canal and other urban waterways around the world in need of help. Superblend is
a call to awareness and to action, and the care and repair of our neglected
urban waterfronts so they can become a vibrant part or our community once again.
